Beatrice J. Babcock of Middletown, NY was born on June 6, 1916 in Westtown, NY, the 11th of 12 children to be born to Alice (Bullock) Eason and William (Bill) Eason who immigrated from England. She worked in the dry cleaning business for many years, as well as the Otisville Training School, the laundry of Middletown Psychiatric Center, Hilltop Children's Center, Little Mama's Restaurant and Phillip's Confectionery. She was an active member of the Happy Seniors for several years and enjoyed visiting relatives in Myrtle Beach and Florida for many years. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Babcock, as well as her siblings: Clarence; Thomas; William; Anson; Amy; Nellie; Ada; Ernest; Edith; Martha and Harry. She is survived by her three daughters: Marie F. DiPirro and Marjorie L. Phillips of Middletown and Theresa J. Cross and her husband James of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is further survived by seven grandchildren: Greg Townsend; Darlene Garland; Jeffrey Phillips; Tammy Phillips Costello; Jason Cross; Darrin Cross and Aaron Cross, fifteen great-grandchildren: Michael; Samantha; Rayna; Rachael; Rory; Tara; Shanna; Ryan; Andrew; Kayla; Jacob; Tiffanie; Allison; Robert and Jozef, seven great-great grandchildren: Owen; Patrick; Alexandra; Raya; Aurora; Oliver and Roman. The family would like to thank the staff of Elant in Goshen for the excellent care given to her during her stay. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM on Thursday May 11, 2017 at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main Street Middletown, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday May 12, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in the Town of Wawayanda.
