Audrey Ayers of Westtown, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, died on Sunday January 17, 2016 at Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis. She was 88. The daughter of the late Emerson and Sarah King Landwehr, she was born on October 6, 1927 in Middletown, New York. She was the widow of Calvin Ayers. The family would like to thank Dr. Bele and Dr. Hmidi of Crystal Run Healthcare for their care of our mother. A special thank you to John Arrotta for helping us keep mom comfortable at home. To her son-in-law Frank, your unconditional love for Mom will never be forgotten. Survivors include her four children Kristine Maiorino and her husband Frank; Curt Ayers and his wife Sherry; JoAnn Roth and her husband Dale and Michael Ayers and his companion Marilyn. Her loving grandchildren Francesca; Curtis; Samantha; Michael; Jill Marie; Susan; Brian; Steven; Heather and Stephanie. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as her faithful companion and dog Muttsy. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna Freethy and her brothers Carl and Ralph Landwehr. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Friday January 22, 2016 at St. Joseph Church 149 Cottage St. Middletown, New York. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Pine Hill Cemetery.
