Anna Smith

Anna Sylvester Smith of Middletown, NY died on July 8, 2024, at Middletown Park Manor. She was 97.

Anna was born on July 12, 1926, in Middletown, NY to Berardino and Julia Leo Sylvester. She was the widow of Herman (Hymie) Smith.

Anna attended Middletown High School. She worked as a waitress for many years.

Anna had a big heart. She enjoyed cooking for others, sharing recipes and making people laugh. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her nephew Nicholas Sylvester Jr, niece Julia Fletcher and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her brothers Nicholas and Louis Sylvester.

A graveside service on Friday July 19, 2024, at 11 A.M. in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown, N.Y.
