Alexander M Archer

Alexander M. Archer of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a retired tool and dye maker and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on January 21, 2022 at his home. He was 93.

The son of the late Edward and Isabella McNiece Archer, he was born on April 14, 1928 in Belfast, Ireland.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was the widower of Joan Archer.

Survivors include his daughter Peggy Vance and her husband Steven of Greenwood Lake, New York and his grandchildren Emily Vance and Randy Vance and his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Thomas Archer.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday January 26, 2022 from 10 A.M.-12 Noon at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, New York.

Burial will follow in Warwick Cemetery Warwick, N.Y.
