Edna Monaghan of Goshen, N.Y. a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on January 21, 2018. She was 87. The daughter of the late Raymond and Julia Dorritie, she was born on March 30, 1930 in Queens, N.Y. She was the widow of Thomas Monaghan. Survivors include her children Thomas Monaghan of Hammonton, N.J.; Arlene Turino and her husband Michael of Goshen, N.Y. and James Monaghan of North Salem, N.Y. Her sister Mary Fitton and her brother Raymond Dorritie. Her grandhchildren Thomas Monaghan; Erin McEvoy and her husband Patrick; Lauren Rousseau and her husband Gerry; Lea Monaghan; Dmitri Monaghan and Dylan Monaghan. Her great-grandchildren Kiera, Brendan and Finn McEvoy and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Julia Dorritie and Grace Villano and her grandson Ryan Monaghan. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Ave. Goshen, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assn.
