Robert Michael Clark of Otisville, N.Y. was called home after a long illness on November 25, 2017 at his home. He was 73. The son of the late William and Elizabeth Clarke, he was born on October 11, 1944. He left behind the love of his life, his wife of 50 years Carolyn. For those that knew the two of them together they know that they were true soul mates. Together they have two sons Robert and his wife Kelli and Christopher and his longtime partner Adriana. Bob also leaves behind his brother William with his wife Eileen and his sister Ellen with her husband Marc. He will be truly missed by his five wonderful grandchildren Ashley, Christopher, James, Thomas and Molli, along with several nieces and nephews. He leaves behind many friends and even though he couldn't go to see them, they always came to visit him. He always looked forward to those visits and valued those friendships. Bob wore many career hats throughout his life. He started his journey in the Special Forces United States Army. He was a Green Beret medic for which he received multiple honors. He attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville where he met his future wife. He then became a member of the Clarkstown Police Department where he and Carolyn settled to raise their boys. After retiring he settled in Orange County to open a successful farm. While in Orange County he served his community on the Town Board in the Town of Wawayanda. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 29, 2017 at 11 AM at the Holy Name of Jesus Church 45 Highland Ave. Otisville, N.Y. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, N.Y. Memorial contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
