Wanda E. White-Austin of Middletown, also known as "Daddy's MOM" a residence home counselor for teenage troubled youth with Pius XII in Middletown, was called home on November 13, 2017 in Middletown Park Manor peacefully, where the staff took excellent care of her during her stay. She was 63.
The daughter of the late Charles White and Charlotte Hasbrouck White, she was born on November 26, 1953 in Middletown, New York.
Wanda was a graduate of Middletown High School Class of 1972.
Wanda was added to the Lord's Church in Middletown Church of Christ in 1999.
Wanda married the love of her life Charles Austin on August 12, 2000. They brought their families together to share in the love they had for each other. She really loved all of her family.
Survivors include her husband Charles Austin and their three children Derek White and his wife Tracie Teller White, Valencia Austin and Lance McBee. Her mother Charlotte Hasbrouck White. Her five grandchildren Derek White Jr.; Sara White; Nicholas White, Julianna Rose White and Aahryon McBee. Her siblings Tony White, Bobby White and Diane Royal. Her uncle Charles Hasbrouck and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her father Charles White and her brothers Charles "Butch" White and Terry White and her grandparents Charles and Majorie Hasbrouck.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday November 18, 2017 from 1-3 P.M. with a A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 P.M. at the Middletown Church of Christ 689 Goshen Turnpike Circleville, New York.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
