Obituary of William D. Alden

William D. "Bill" Alden of Greenwood Lake, a former laborer and longtime resident of the area, died on July 30, 2017 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. He was 71. The son of the late Robert and Jean Brooks Alden he was born on March 9, 1946 in Cornwall, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his children Amy Alden and Robert Alden both of Greenwood Lake, N.Y. His brother George Mann of Greenwood Lake and Bonnie Wagner of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday August 5, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. at the Strong Basile 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
