Obituary of JoAnn Weissinger

JoAnn Weissinger, a retired school bus driver with the Minisink Valley School District for 26 years and lifelong resident of the area died Tuesday March 28, 2017 at Middletown Park Manor. She was 61. The daughter of the late Gerald Frank and Mildred Frank Houck, she was born August 30, 1955 in Middletown, NY. JoAnn was a member of the Orange County Antique Car Club and the Tri-State Car Club. She was also a member of the Minisink Valley CSEA and previously served as a Shop Steward. She was also a member of the Social Club. She was previously involved in area Bowling Leagues and recorded a perfect "300" game. Survivors include her husband Ronald Weissinger Sr. at home; her children: Ronald Weissinger Jr. and his wife Kayla of Newburgh, NY; Jason Weissinger of Greenville, NY; her granddaughter: Cadence Weissinger; her mother: Mildred Houck of Mt. Hope, NY; her sisters: Geraldine Gould and her husband Elroy of Unionville, NY and Faith Elliott of PA; her brothers: Mark Frank and his wife Gigi of Town of Deerpark, N.Y. and Charles Houck of Elmira, NY. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Gerald Frank and her step-father Charles Houck. Visitation hours will be held on Friday March 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, Inc. 72 West Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 1, 2017 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Plains Cemetery Otisville, N.Y.
