Obituary of Rose Marie McCay

Rose Marie McCay of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a retired teacher's aide at the Greenwood Lake Elementary School, died on February 13, 2017 in Nyack Manor Nursing Home. She was 76. The daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine Wetzel, she was born on April 15, 1940 in Bronx, New York. Survivors include her children James McCay of Greenwood Lake, N.Y.; Patricia Medaglia (Ernie ) of Bronxville, N.Y. and Barbara Nagy (Glenn) of West Milford, N.J. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and her sister Kathleen Walsh and her husband Frank of Wantagh, N.Y. and her brother Arthur Wetzel of Georgia and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak Street Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday February 17, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church Greenwood Lake, N.Y. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery Warwick, N.Y.
