Angelina Skalicky of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died on Sunday January 29, 2017 in Warwick. She was 97. The daughter of the late Antonio and Rosina Spagna, she was born on October 22, 1919 in N.Y., N.Y. She was the widow of Paul Skalicky. Angelina was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake and the Catholic Daughters. Survivors include her three sons Paul Skalicky and his wife Linda of N.Y.; Steven Skalicky and his wife Annmarie of Larchmont, N.Y. and Anthony Skalicky and his wife Joan with whom she resided. Her sisters Anna Giaimo and her husband Sal of Port Richey, Fl. and Susan Moore of Denver, Colorado. Her grandchildren Anthony; Michael; Julie; Melissa; Steven; Maryann; Stephanie; Angela and Christopher. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday January 31, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Holy Rosary Church in Greenwood Lake. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Hawthorne, N.Y.
