Obituary of Matthew R. Hand

Matthew R. Hand of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., a laborer and longtime resident of the area, died on January 23, 2017 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, N.Y. He was 29. The son of the late Henry Hand and Denise Irber Hand, he was born on October 17, 1987 in Pequannock, N.J. Survivors include his mother Denise Hand; his companion Kimberly Finn and his sister Corinne Hand and her companion Russell all of Greenwood Lake; his brother Douglas Hand of West Milford, N.J. His stepchildren John; Jesse; Kyle and Keith all at home. He is also survived by his uncle Frank, his aunt Patty and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Henry Hand and his sister Darlene Brandt. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday January 28, 2017 from 2-5 P.M. at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, N.Y.
