Dorothy Irene Sevcik of Goshen, a homemaker and over thirty year resident of the area, died on November 27, 2016. She was 100. The daughter of the late Elting and Algenetta Kemp Mandigo, she was born on June 26, 1916 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dorothy was a former Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer at the Red Door. She was a member of the Goshen Seniors and a longtime active member in the Goshen Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her children Elaine Snow; Joy Gurrieri; Arlene Metsky; William Sevcik; Sharon Kremsner; John Sevcik; Steven Sevcik and Frank Sevcik. Her grandchildren David Snow; Vicki Greer; Tammy Snow; Paul Kremsner; Christopher Kremsner and Nicholas Sevcik. Her great-granddaughter Gabby Greer. She is also survived by her brother Luther. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday December 6, 2016 from 10 A.M.-12 Noon at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Avenue Goshen, N.Y. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. The Rev. David Kingsley will officiate.
