Obituary of David Luke Hulse

David Hulse, 56, of Middletown, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. He was born in Middletown, NY on September 26, 1960 and was the son of the late Leonard and Joan Bende Hulse. Dave was employed at Fusco Engineering of Middletown and Kelley Jean's Restaurant in Goshen. Dave enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He was gifted with a green thumb and was generous in sharing his knowledge of horticulture with others. Dave always enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends. Another talent he loved to share with others was cooking and baking. Surviving are his son, David Leonard Hulse of Sullivan County; brother Dan Hulse and his wife Judy; niece, Sara Hulse; grandniece Zephora Brooke Hulse all of Middletown; aunts, Karen Bende of Goshen; Bette Bende Jackson of State College, PA; MaryAnn Bende Hite of New Hampton. Also survived by cousins, Rhonda Crabtree and her husband Scott of Montgomery; Stephen Bende and his wife Rocio of Goshen; Kristine Wilbur and her husband Randy of Montgomery; Roni D. Jackson and her husband Bill of Corona Del Mar, CA, and Broc Hite of Rogers, AR. Visitation will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 28 at Ralston-Lippincott-Hasbrouck-Ingrassia Funeral Home, 72 West Main Street, Middletown, NY. A funeral service celebrating Dave's life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Denton, 22 County Route 56, New Hampton, NY on Saturday, October 29 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Peter Johnson officiating.
