Obituary of Arnold J. King

Arnold J. King of the Town of Wawayanda, a retired Stationary Engineer for the County of Orange, and a former farmer for many years, died on October 21, 2016 at his home. He was 85. The son of the late Andrew and Anna Nauta King, he was born on June 6, 1931 in Midland Park, N.J. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member and former Elder of the Goshen Christian Reformed Church, where he sang in the choir and the men's quartet at the Church. He was a founding Board Member of the Goshen Christian School. He was the widower of Marie J. King. Survivors include his children Ginny Grebeldinger and her husband Mark; Ron King and his wife Trish; Sandy Culver and her husband Charles; Jim King and his wife Sally and Tim King and his wife Linda. His brother John King and his wife Joyce. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His brother-in-law George Hoogenhuis and his wife Clara, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Andrew King. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday October 23, 2016 from 2-5 P.M. at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Inc. 107 Murray Ave. Goshen, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Monday October 24, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Goshen Christian Reformed Church Route 17A Goshen, N.Y. Burial will be in Orange County Veterans Cemetery Goshen, N.Y.
