Jozsef I. Magyar of Chester, a retired employee of the Ford Motor Company and a longtime resident of the area, died on October 3, 2016 in Northern Riverview Health Care Center in Haverstraw. He was 72.
The son of the late Jozsef and Ilona Magyar, he was born on January 22, 1944 in Budapest, Hungary.
Survivors include his wife Ruth Magyar at home. His children Jozsef Magyar and his wife Cyndia of Long Pond, PA. and Vanessa Magyar of Chester. His grandchildren Jozsef; Emily and Ashley. He is also survived by his brother and two sisters and his nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held on Saturday October 8, 2016 from 10-11:30 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11:30 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Chester 94-96 Main St. Chester, N.Y.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
