Diane E. Buurman of Greenwood Lake, a retired Storage Clerk for Fishkill Correctional Facility and formerly the Mid-Orange Correctional Facility, died on Friday September 9, 2016 at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick. She was 59. The daughter of the late Simon Gleason and Patricia O'Hanley Gleason, she was born on July 31, 1957 in Bronx, New York. Survivors include her husband Paul Buurman at home. Her son Paul Buurman and his wife Lauren of N.J. and her grandson Paulie. Her mother Patricia Gleason of Cranberry Lake, N.J. Her brothers Philip Gleason of Phillipsburg, N.J. and James Gleason of Cranberry Lake, N.J. Her sister K.C. Rapp and her husband Keith of Harmony, N.J. and Laura Gleason of Cranberry Lake, N.J. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday September 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Strong Basile Funeral Home 4 Oak St. Greenwood Lake, New York.
