Ulysses Pittman of Middletown, a retired automotive preparation detailer at Fulton Cheverolet in Middletown, and a longtime resident of the area, died on September 3, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 72. The son of the late Ray and Ella Cooper Pittman, he was born on January 24, 1944 in Dawson, Georgia. He is survived by his wife Bernice. His children: Gwen Pittman of Florida; Greg Hill of Middletown; Reginald and Ronald Hill both of Georgia and Bernice Cutliff of Georgia. His brothers Tommie Pittman and his wife Rosie of Middletown; Ray Pittman Jr. and his wife Murline and Jerry Pittman and his wife Evelyn all of Georgia. His sisters Wayva King of Florida; Bernice White of Middletown and Fredanne Clark and her husband Collie of Georgia. He is also survied by his grandchildren; great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Mattie Watson and brother Leroy Pittman. Private services with Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery were held on Thursday September 8, 2016.
