Obituary of Ralph A. Tomlinson

Ralph A. Tomlinson of Middletown, a retired foreman for Delford Industries in Middletown, N.Y. and a longtime resident of the area, died on August 17, 2016 at his son's home in Fayetteville, N.C. He was 88. The son of the late Vestine Beckford, he was born on February 3, 1928 in Jamaica, West Indies. He was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in Middletown, N.Y. He was the widower of Pauline Tomlinson. Survivors include his children Mark Tomlinson and his wife Anabel of Fayetteville, N.C. and Lisbeth Jackson-Bourne and her husband Eugenio of Mesa, Arizona. His five grandchildren Justin, Jacob, Ava, Lena and Bianca. His sister Hermine Rudd as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2016 from 10-11 A.M. with a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. all at the First Congregational Church 35 East Main St. Middletown, N.Y. Burial will follow in the Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church .
