Obituary of Mary Lou Nunmaker

Mary Lou Nunmaker of Mt. Hope, passed away on July 27. 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was 66. The daughter of the late Lewis and Anita Hodges Malinowski, she was born on August 26, 1949 in Middletown, N.Y, she was raised by her stepfather the late John Petrillo. She was the widow of the late Marcus Gulle and the widow of Thomas Nunmaker. She formerly worked as a hairdresser and a rural postal carrier. She was a fan of NASCAR and watching the races at the Orange County Fair Speedway and Bowling. She was always willing to help anyone, anytime. Her family would like to thank the staff at Middletown Park Manor for their care they gave her while she was there. Karen and the late Joe Purta for all they did for Mary. Survivors include her daughter Michelle Claire and her husband Joe. Her two grandchildren Jennifer and Joseph and her great- grandson Kameron. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Charles "Butch" Malinowski; Irene Walters; Joann Biales; John Petrillo Jr. and Annette Petrillo as well as her niece, nephew and cousins. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday August 20, 2016 from 10:30-11:30 A.M. with a Memorial Service at 11:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Deerpark Humane Society.
